La Benedicion Women’s Group, Guatemala
a Project of Right Sharing of World Resources,
supported by Berkeley Friends Meeting
La Benedicion Women’s Group in Guatemala is organized to help each other build businesses and support their families and communities. A Quaker organization, Right Sharing for World Resources, provided training in running businesses, keeping track of their funds, and leadership. Berkeley Friends Meeting is supporting La Benedicion by providing the initial funding for their microloans, which they will pay back and then distribute to others.
One Year Into the Project:
La Benedicion, through Right Sharing of World Resources, has sent us their one-year and six-month reports on the project; please take a look at them (the English version is the second half of the six-month document).
